Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program (RS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program)
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) offers two initiatives to assist specific demographics with their tax returns.
The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) and Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) programmes have high expectations of their volunteers, who are required to complete tax law training that meets the IRS’s requirements.
A portion of the training is devoted to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of all taxpayer data.
There are several reasons why your tax refund is late.
Who is eligible to take use of the IRS’s volunteer services?
